We knew that for the NAHBS we wanted to produce some normal bikes. Introducing the Rully Figid for use off the grid. Price is the proud owner of this unique 22.5 pound off road machine. SRAM XO1-Eagle, Whisky carbon parts and American Classic wheels compliment this Columbus steel frame mountain bike.
What makes this so special? These 27.5+ wheels equal a 29 stance, so you can actually run traditional 29er wheels or even switch the rear dropout and make this into a single speed. 3 bikes in one!
Available soon via the Tallerico Cycles store with options including carbon hoops and Fox suspension
There is the final product. The PENNY. The Original Gravel bike, despite being denied entry into that competition... It's available and will include the trophy, a color photo book of the project and original drawings. Since we had no blueprint and couldn't really compare it to something we had kicking around you'll see transformations along the way. Own this piece of 2017 history, ride it or put it in your window. It's about pride and engineering. Made mostly of materials left over from other projects this truly unique and one of a kind Penny is looking for a forever home!
We set out to NAHBS with one major objective. Bring something that's never been shown before. Let us introduce the Penny-Farthing. 100% handmade frame and fork. We modernized the look slightly and as you can see. The backbone is composed of 8 individual vertebrate plus a support for the head tube structure. This beauty is one of a kind never to be replicated again. It's build around a 50 inch front wheel, 17 inch rear... to say it's tall is an understatement. Sourcing a wheel so large was a project in itself without even thinking about how to build a wheel of this nature, custom truing stand adaptors and 5 cross lacing. More photos will be added today.
This unique creation is available for purchase, please inquire. The buyer will receive the bicycle plus original drawing and a small book with some of the photo's below about the creation of this masterpiece.
